Thriving Together, Deck by Deck

We have partnered with a local non-profit, Skating is Connection, to refurbish, paint, and give away nearly 100 skateboards in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month! We know that when kids have more positive relationships in their lives, they are less likely to experience lasting effects of abuse or other harm and more likely to thrive. Our goal with coming together to refurbish, paint, then give the skateboards to kids in Clackamas County is to strengthen connections within families and the community as a whole and promote these strengthening factors for kids. We want to bring the community together at every stage of this effort, so the focus of this event will be preparing the decks to be painted.
