Meet the Presenters-

Megan Orton, founder of Mindful Media, helps parents find screen time solutions that work for their unique families. Motivated by 25 years of teaching Suzuki Violin to PNW families and by watching her students struggle more and more with screen overuse, Megan turned her attention full time to researching kids and screens in 2017. In 2021, she was certified by The Digital Wellness Institute. Also the mom of a teenage son, Megan knows firsthand the challenges of parenting in the screen age.

Respite Resource Parent, Arianna Puls, MS CCC-SLP has been coaching parenting strategies for neurodiverse children for 7+ years as a Speech Pathologist. She runs New Leaf Speech Therapy and works full-time in Multnomah County's Early Intervention Program. Arianna is currently advocating for safer media use through the Screen Time Action Network's Early Childhood Workgroup and their Speech Pathology Task Force, as well as a local group in Portland.
