Sibling Camp- Kindred Matters (Canby, OR)

May 23
Friday, May 23, 2025 – 9:00am
9:00am - 9:00pm

Family Camp is a four-day, three-night camp program hosted by Kindred Matters. Families bring their entire family–biological, foster, adoptive, or otherwise–for a long weekend of workshops, family fun, and community building.

This year, we are offering two sessions of Family Camp!

  • Family Camp Session 1: March 21-24 at Suttle Lake Camp, Sisters, Oregon.
  • Family Camp Session 2: May 23-26 at Canby Grove Camp, Canby, Oregon.

The first round of review for Interest Forms will take place the week of January 20-24.

  • Applications submitted before January 20th will be brought to our first selection committee meeting. After the deadline, we will keep the applications open and have subsequential selection committee meetings until we fill our available space for each Family Camp session. At that time, we will create our waitlist for each program. The application information is critical to the selection process and incredibly helpful for our team in serving families the best we can. If our team has any follow-up questions, we will contact you directly.
  • We are using UltraCamp again this year as our registration software. If you applied last year, you can log into your account and update any family member information. If you did not apply last year, please have the primary family contact create an account and add each family member attending camp to your account before completing the application. After clicking the link, please click register, followed by new user to proceed.

EACH member must be added to your account before completing the application form to have an accurate count for your family. We understand that family structures can change; if this is the case for your family, please reach out to us as soon as possible so that we can make adjustments. There is no fee to apply for Family Camp. However, there is a cost for attending. Kindred Matters will do everything in our power to ensure that cost is not a barrier to attendance. Please ensure that you "Check Out" at the end of the application to ensure it has been submitted. You should receive an email confirming the submission of your application as well. If you have any questions, please reach out!

Please follow the link below to apply.

  • IF APPROVED, a member of our team will contact you and provide further information to complete the registration process. If our team has questions regarding serving your family, we will also be in touch.
  • We encourage you to share our Family Camp applications with other families in your community who may be interested in attending. If you have a young person with a sibling living in a separate home, we also encourage you to invite them to apply. Family Camp is also an excellent space for sibling connection if our Sibling Camp is not the right fit.
