Join us for an exploration of the importance of neurodivergent-affirming care in mental health treatment, presented by primary researcher Elizabeth Kroll, MEd, Manager of Research at Charlie Health, with Megan Lederman, MA LPC, Director of Clinical Programming. This presentation will explore the principles of neurodivergent affirming care and review data from over 6,000 program participants to highlight how affirming clients’ neurodivergent identities impacts their mental health outcomes in care. We'll emphasize how affirming practices for recognizing and celebrating neurodivergent identities--through a connection-centered approach that validates lived experiences and provides individualized support--can foster resilience and support clients in a journey to thriving.
