Training:

Supporting adoptees when birth parent contact is limited

Feb 27
Thursday, February 27, 2025 – 6:30pm
6:30pm - 8:00pm

This panel will explore how to best support children when contact with their birth parents is limited or has never been part of their child’s life. Panelists will share how they have supported their children in answering hard questions, helping their children (and themselves) with grief, and continuing to honor the culture of openness in their homes and their children’s lives. The panel will be hosted by OA&FS counselor Katie Raser. Panelists will include OA&FS adoptive families and OA&FS counselor Jan Jamieson. This 90-minute event will include 30 minutes for Q&A.

This event is open to the public and is $25 per family.
