Britt Frank, LSCSW, SEP is a licensed neuropsychotherapist and author of The Science of Stuck: Breaking Through Inertia to Find Your Path Forward, released by Penguin Random House in 2022 and now available in 8 languages. As a trauma specialist with expertise in Somatic Experiencing and Internal Family Systems, her work focuses on dismantling the mental health myths that keep us stuck in shame and self-blame. Britt received her BA from Duke University and her MSW from the University of Kansas, where she later became an award-winning adjunct professor. Britt is also trained as a play therapist who has worked both in private practice as an inpatient clinician with foster children and their families. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Esquire, NPR, New York Magazine, and she's a contributing writer to Psychology Today.
