The ARC of Lane County is offering this virtual class that may be of interest to some of our families: Upcoming Sex Education Class to Teach Healthy Relationships, Boundaries to People with Developmental Disabilities.

The University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) will host a free virtual sexual health education class for young adults with developmental disabilities ages 18-25. The class will help people learn about healthy relationships, boundaries, consent and safety. The Sexuality for All Abilities class will start October 7 and will meet twice a week. People interested in taking the class are asked to take a survey. Depending on the survey results, UCEDD may host a shorter or a longer version of the class. The longer version will have shorter lessons and more repetition.

Link to the survey/application: Here

**Note: There are two versions of Sexuality for All Abilities. One version is 7 weeks with 13 one-hour classes and the other is 17 weeks with 33 half-hour classes. Both cover the same content but the 17 week class has more repetition. Depending on the needs of students we will offer one or the other. If we are not able to offer your choice of class this time, we will add your name to a waitlist for the next time this class is offered. Please feel free to reach out to Morrigan (huntermo@ohsu.edu) if you have any questions. **
