Please join Swindells Resource Center and Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center for Week Five of a 5-week series -Trauma Informed Parenting, with Emily Santiago, LEP, NCSP Executive Director of Center for Social Resilience. Emily Santiago, LEP, NCSP, aMFT is a parent, a school psychologist and a therapist based in Southern Oregon. She received degrees in psychology and education from Brandeis University (BS ’99) and CSUEB (MS 2010). Since then she has worked in rural, urban and private schools in the US and abroad as a school psychologist, teacher, wraparound facilitator and university instructor for over 25 years. She is known for building a national Trauma Informed Specialist program that trains educators and building the Social Resilience Scale to look at how we can work together as a community to heal trauma. Emily lives on a small farm in Ashland, Oregon with her family and works with the Southern Oregon Educational Service District and CSUEB.
