Preparing For Back to School-Setting My Child Up For Success!

Please join Swindells Resource Center in welcoming Lauren Stewart, MA (She/Her), Autism Consultant for Preparing My Child for School-Setting My Child Up for Success! In this workshop, we will identify ways to start setting your child up for success before they start their school journey! We will identify tools and supports such as visual supports and visual stories; identify home structure and scheduling; and promote strategies for success as your child starts the 2024-2025 school year by identifying what we as parents can do to ensure that success.

Speaker: Lauren Stewart, MA (She/Her), Autism Consultant Lauren has received both her undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in child development with an emphasis in application theory. She has been in the education system for 9 years as a behavior support specialist and Autism consultant in both California and Oregon. Previously, she served as a Clinical Supervisor at a Non-Public Agency utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis strategies in home, center, and community-based settings. She also has an extensive knowledge base and experience with facilitating social skills groups from ages K-22 years of age. Lauren’s professional mission is to continue uplifting and amplifying Autistic voices to strengthen community partnerships.
