Play

Play is one of the most important, universal, and cherished human activities! Yet, it rarely gets the spotlight it deserves. If you want to nurture attachment, heal from trauma, build brains, and foster resilience, science shows us that nothing is a better therapeutic fix-all than play. Please also reference our All About Me, Mindfulness, Parent & Professional Care, Sensory Supports, and Trauma pages for more resources.

Play is vital for helping kids (and adults!) heal from trauma. It’s a crucial but underutilized tool in foster care, adoption and life! Check out ORPARC's Short Support video below! View the entire Short Supports collection here.
