Suicide & Self-Harm Supports

Suicide is a serious and unfortunately prevalent topic, particularly for youth who have experienced trauma, attachment disruptions, mental health challenges, and other hardships. Education paired with the support of connected, invested adults is a critical part of prevention. When there is suicide risk, both youth and their caregivers need to be wrapped in care and encouragement! Please reference our Attachment, Bullying, Grief & Loss, Life Story Work, Mental Health, Mindfulness, Resilience & Regulation, Parent & Professional Care, Play and Trauma pages for more resources.

"No one commits suicide because they want to die. Then why do they do it? Because they want to stop the pain.” ~Tiffanie DeBartolo
