The Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center (ORPARC) presents and collaborates in bringing trainings to all regions of Oregon. ORPARC requires registration for trainings presented at large venues to ensure available seating and appreciates registration at trainings presented to adoptive parent support groups. Register for trainings by calling 1-800-764-8367, 503-241-0799, or e-mail orparc@nwresource.org. ORPARC trainings are free of charge to state adoptive, foster, and assisted guardianship families, as well as DHS/SNAC adoption professionals. Others may attend as space allows or for a nominal fee. ORPARC can reimburse eligible families for childcare and travel expenses as funds allow. Please inquire about childcare or travel reimbursement when registering. ORPARC trainings
are held in accessible locations. Auxiliary aids and alternative forms
of written materials are available to eligible individuals with disabilities.
Translation and/or interpretation services are available to eligible non-English-speaking
individuals. Please request these services at least two weeks in advance.
